About Peter Maguddayao
Peter was admitted to practice in Washington in 2004. Prior to his opening his solo practice, Peter worked as a Rule 9 legal intern for the University Legal Assistance program at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, WA. He also worked as a legal intern representing low income unemployment benefit claimants for the Unemployment Law Project in Seattle, WA and as a court clerk for the King County District Court in Burien, WA.
Peter received his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2003, and earned his Bachelor degree in American Ethnic Studies from the University of Washington in 1999. While in law school, he was the recipient of two CALI awards for legal research and writing. Peter also served at the Secretary for the Asian Pacific Law Caucus.
His legal practice includes divorce and family law, employment law, residential landlord-tenant evictions (RLTA), traffic tickets and infractions, and personal injury claims. He is a member of the Washington State Bar, and is admitted to U.S. District Court for Western and Eastern Washington, as well as the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Besides working for his clients, Peter enjoys playing basketball, softball, and watching college sports. He spends a lot of time with his wife and his son watching Star Wars and Disney cartoons. During football season, you can find him at Husky Stadium, where he and his brother are season ticket holders.
